If you’ve been waiting for more Planet Coaster fun, the wait is almost over! Planet Coaster 2 is officially dropping on November 6th, and honestly, I’m super excited about what’s coming.
What’s New? Switch Tracks and More!
And now, the new trailer showed some amazing features, and I gotta say-it got me hyped. First of all, we are going to have switch tracks! Man, I have been hoping for that forever. That means now we can make our coasters in an even crazier way. I already have a few ideas spinning around in my head, and I just can’t wait to try them out.
And there’s more! The trailer also teased drop tracks, and if you caught that little glimpse at the end, you know what I’m talking about. These are really going to make these coasters even more thrilling. I’m quite sure the community is going to go bananas with these new tracks, and I just can’t wait to see what people can create.
More Ways to Customize Your Park
Along with the new coaster tracks, we’re getting some seriously cool customization options. I’m talking new rides, props, and even pools! The pool areas look like so much fun, and the colors and scenery just pop. It’s all about making your park exactly how you want it. The trailer showed off the aquatic theme, which looked awesome, but I’m curious to see what other themes they’ll throw in.
What I love most about these updates is the creative freedom we’re getting. Now we can tweak rides to match our park’s vibe, whether you want something bright and colorful or dark and spooky. It’s like every park will have its own personality.
Deluxe Edition & Pre-Order Bonus
If you’re already thinking of picking up the game, well, know this: Planet Coaster 2 will have a deluxe edition on sale alongside the standard one that will give you a little something more. You can pre-order them on Steam, Epic, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
Version | Price | What’s Included |
Standard Edition | $49.99 | Base Game |
Deluxe Edition | $64.99 | Base Game & Vintage Funfair Ride Pack |
The Vintage Funfair Ride Pack in the Deluxe Edition is pretty cool. It comes with 10 old-school rides like a carousel and a wooden coaster. If you pre-order either version, you also get a bonus pack with three extra rides: the Cube, Rotating Slide, and Outamax Water Coaster.
November Can’t Come Soon Enough
There’s so much to be excited about, with Planet Coaster 2: the new coaster tracks, the custom props-to those who just want to dive in and build a brand-new park, it’s all here. For me, the countdown to November 6th has begun. This is going to be awesome!
