Although the community of Genshin Impact is seriously hyped for Version 5.2, it would appear that the closed beta test has started for Genshin Impact Version 5.2, and we have some exciting new information regarding the upcoming patch. This includes information on the Archon rerun and the main event rewards.
Archon Rerun and Banner Characters
According to the data shared, it seems like Zhongli will be getting his long-awaited rerun in Version 5.2. But that’s not all—4-star characters like Fischl and Heizou will be on his banner. This information seems reliable since both of these 4-star characters haven’t appeared on any banners in a while.
It was earlier speculated that Venti might get a rerun with the upcoming patch. Chasca or some other character may join the queue alongside him. Whatever the case may be, such speculations do not seem valid anymore. People only predicted the rerun of Venti in Version 5.2 because it was believed that the Version 5.2 main event would take place in Dragonspine, which is located within Mondstadt and involves him.
Main Event Shift to Natlan
However, according to the beta testers, the main event of Version 5.2 will now take place in Natlan instead of Dragonspine. This caught many by surprise since earlier leaks mentioned plot lines related to Durin, Wanderer, and possibly Venti. However, we now know for sure that the event is happening in Natlan.
Free Four-Star Sword: Calamity of the Blighted Springs
During the main event, players will get a free 4-star sword called Calamity of the Blighted Springs. It’s a pretty good weapon, providing a flat attack of 565 and a 27.6% attack bonus at level 90. Its passive effect increases normal and charged attack damage by 20% when protected by a shield, and the crit rate of those attacks will be increased by 8%.
This might also hint at Zhongli’s rerun in Version 5.2 since the passive ability mentions protection by a shield, which Zhongli excels at.
Wanderer’s Role in the Event
During this event, he takes the most important position. In the event, over 140 voice lines of him are heard. That is a lot, but from that time, it is still not sure whether Duren will be featured in the event or not. If Wanderer is the main character, Durin is with Wanderer, then they both will get the chance to be in the story.
Speculations on Dragonspine and Future Playable Characters
Speaking of which, Dragonspine-everybody knows Durin’s heart is still beating there, and it’s beating rather fast, if not to say faster than usual. If the event takes place in Natlan, could this mean someone from Mondstadt is getting another part of their story quest, like Albedo? Albedo is the only one directly involved with Durin and the lore of Dragonspine, so that could be an interesting turn of events.
Moreover, Durin is expected to be a playable character in the future, so any quest he’s involved in is sure to be exciting. Don’t forget that Wanderer could also get a rerun along with the next part of his story quest, especially since he’s connected with Durin now.

Banner Speculation
The event will feature Wanderer in the most prominent role, with more than 140 voice lines in the event. That is a lot, but by that time, it’s still uncertain whether Durin will be featured in the event or not. If Wanderer is the main character and Durin is with Wanderer, then they might both have the opportunity to be a part of the story.
